What is professional staging?
By definition, Home Staging is the preparation of a home to sell by a professional who specializes in this form of design and has been certified and trained on the art of home staging. The key word is TRAINED! A seller cannot see their own home critically and a realtor usually does not have the time, resources or the training to do it. We also have trade discounts that we can use to help the seller enhance any room in their house.
FAQs
How much does it cost?
An in home consultation and follow up report can cost as little as $200.00
In a seller's market, why do I need to stage?
What sellers don't realize is that even though their house may sell quickly, they might have received more money if it had been staged, an average of 10% more!
Why shouldn't I just stage myself?
It is difficult for a homeowner to see their home as others see it. They become blind to the imperfections because they are so accustomed to seeing it that way. They are also too emotionally attached to make critical decisions on what needs to be done to prepare it for sale.
Won't potential buyers just overlook things that they don't like?
Actually most people cannot overlook imperfections in a home. Only 10% of buyers can visualize a home's true potential. It is my job to identify the factors that will detract buyers and fix them to give you the highest return on investment.
